The student caps and gowns for Commencement have arrived and are ready for purchase. Come by the Campus Store to pick your size and try them on. The set is $50.

Now is the time to get your 2024-2025 FAFSA done for your next academic year. Scholarships and financial aid are still available! FAFSA is completed each year to determine federal, state, and need-based funding.

FAFSA help is available! Visit our website, contact the Financial Aid Office at fao@allegheny.edu or (814) 332-2701, or stop in person at 454 House Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

As we approach the end of the semester the Game Room will be closing its doors for a summer refresh! The Game Room will be closed starting Tuesday, April 30.

It will remain open through this weekend with its normal hours (12 pm – 12 am).

Updates will go out closer to the fall semester on when the space will reopen. We want to wish everyone a safe and relaxing summer!

On Sunday, April 28 at 6 PM, head to GFC to see Allegheny’s funniest improv troupe in their last show of the semester! Say farewell to three graduating eggs, as they go to the big omelette up state!

QPOC will be hosting a study space with lofi and snacks for those looking for productive community space during Study Day, May 1. Join us in Room 206 of the Campus Center as we prep for finals together. All are welcome!

The Allegheny Music Department will present Opera Scenes in Ford Chapel at 7:30 p.m. this Friday, April 26. 16 students present staged scenes in English, French, Italian and German from:

• The Tales of Hoffmann

The performance is free and open to the public.

All student mail will be held over summer break. If you would like your mail forwarded during this time, you must provide the necessary information here.

Only mail from the USPS can be forwarded. Should you receive any other packages from other carriers you will need to contact Post and Print at P2Xpost@allegheny.edu for further assistance. We are unable to forward packages outside the United States.

Graduates, your mail will be forwarded for 6 months. Mail will be forwarded to the address on file as of May 20, 2024. Should you change your address with Allegheny College after May 20, 2024, you will need to notify Post and Print at P2Xpost@allegheny.edu.

Update your address with any companies you regularly receive mail from. This includes but is not limited to bank, medical, and credit card statements, loan companies, subscriptions, Amazon, etc.

As a reminder, only USPS packages can be forwarded at no charge. Other carriers will require paid shipping and will require you to call and pay for shipping. No packages can be sent outside the USA. These packages will be returned to sender.

Join the Allegheny English Department for a book swap in the Odd Fellows Lobby on Wednesday, May 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. Students and faculty are welcome to bring their used books and textbooks and browse for other books to take home. A light lunch will be provided.
